Arona Blue, Quietly Classical

The pleasure of this home lies in how its details come together: a grey-blue backdrop, a softly lit ceiling, floral dining chairs and a painting that gives the room its character. Rather than relying on elaborate ornament, the design builds a classical atmosphere through proportion, colour and carefully chosen objects.

The homeowner’s appreciation for refined design inspired the Arona grey-blue palette. Simple wall mouldings create a composed backdrop, while metallic accents and soft fabrics add warmth. Beside the window, a curved upholstered dining seat and a round table give the dining corner its own identity within the shared living space.

A painting of a woman with a smoking pipe brings a languid, vintage mood to the sitting area. A brass-column fabric floor lamp echoes its tone, balancing the artwork with gentle light. At the window, a fitted desk continues the blue palette, with small brass-coloured handles and a green upholstered chair carrying the same attention to detail into an everyday working corner.
