Concrete, Timber and a More Connected Home

The surprise in this home is the connection created by a single timber-clad wall. On one side, a television and a slim shelf belong to the living room; around its edge, the open kitchen becomes part of the same everyday scene. Warm wood and cool grey surfaces give each area its character while keeping the home visually connected.

The redesigned open kitchen improves circulation and opens up the living-dining space. Pale timber panelling, a grey floor and black track lighting establish a simple material language. Darker kitchen cabinetry and stainless-steel surfaces add contrast without breaking that continuity.

At the entrance, full-height timber storage forms a calm backdrop to the dining table and bench. A sculptural timber pendant brings the material palette down to the scale of a shared meal. From the broad layout to a black drawer handle, the design finds interest in the meeting of natural texture and clear geometric lines.

水泥、木材，連成更流暢的家

這個家的驚喜，是一道木飾面牆帶來的連繫。一面是屬於客廳的電視與纖薄層架，轉過牆邊，開放式廚房便成為同一個日常場景。溫暖木色與清冷灰色表面，讓不同區域各有性格，同時保持視覺連貫。

重新規劃的開放式廚房改善動線，並放大客飯廳的共享感。淺木飾面、灰色地面與黑色路軌燈建立簡潔語言，較深色的廚櫃與不鏽鋼檯面則在其中加入材質對比。

玄關的高身木櫃，為餐枱及長凳構成安靜背景；具雕塑感的木吊燈，將木材的溫度帶到用餐尺度。由整體布局到一支黑色抽屜拉手，設計的趣味都藏在自然紋理與清晰幾何線條相遇之處。
